Keep relevant photos taken with recorded mileage and get something in writing, as everything these days needs a paper trail. Blade dealership should have recorded vehicle visit for SKODA vehicle main history record on their main frame computer. Insist on a report (again) and generate a paper trail of the reported wear.

Over the years with my old 2005, 12 year old Fabia VRS MK1 with no mods, has always checked-out at 10 miles per litre, or 45mpg. Always tested by brimful to brimful during winter and summer. All speeds across the board, including getting the maximum speed ( accordingly to speedo) 130mph..at maximum revs according to rev counter. Still puts a smile on my old 68 + years face..LOL with these large exhausts and pounding drum beats from their audio equipment, when I blast past them..

If your talking about the main air-intake scoop fitted just behind the grill then look carefully at it from the outside with the bonnet open. You will notice the moulding has an open section below the main air-intake feed. I guess the open section allows water to go thru the open slot and into engine bay, and not into the main air-way to the air box ?

I wonder if the MK1 VRS would except MK2 VRS rear mudflats without having to sheer-off a part of the rear plastic moulding.. IDEA's..... input if possible..Thanks

If it's that pink stuff G13 in your top water reservoir, then water is used to get the right consistency, once G13 has been applied. Get consistency checked-out at the garage once you are home for the approaching winter months for protection. Ditto Ian..

I would be inclined that the input (first motion) shaft would effect all gears, a bit like a worn clutch. A possible gear-box strip to replace the shaft would encourage me to renew all the clutch components at the same time.. Adding the cost of a gear-box strip by a professional to replace shaft could be off-set and cheaper by getting a second-hand gear-box.. Just glad not my gear-box and decision and knowing these things could end-up being very expensive..

Could it be the clutch requires replacing, and the gear-box is fine??

Bigger the car, better the seats for comfort, perhaps the **Octavia or it's upgraded superceded models. Steer clear of sports models with hard suspensions and sports seats. Door openings on Fabia's in general are more narrow in comparison to it's bigger brother.**

I've wired and plumbed-in a shower unit, using a Dremel to cut-out tiles etc, (ideal tool for job)..and I am no tradesman.. To wire up a shaver unit ensure unit is well earthed.. Treat electricity with great respect and safety first then you'll be fine..

With Fabia pads bought from Skoda have the slide plates and bolts included..

I had this problem, and tried all sorts of cleaners, to no real effect. Finally bought two new headlights c/o E-Bay around £70.00 all-in. To split headlights in nigh-on impossible without causing extreme damage (I tried) because the lens and headlamp casing are glued together so well..

Perhaps place a patch over hole and pop-rivet in an effort to put the right shape back ??

Swap the door wiring for the original perhaps to cure the problem ??

Have you checked the live feed to switch ? If micro switch fault, buy a new one ?
