How many of you guys have had the emission recall? Have you managed to reverse it? Heard it creates lots of problems with dpf and egr? Thinking of using Awtuning sidcup

Really fancy a mk2 tfsi but all these horror storys are really putting me off, do they all burn oil and have tensioner issues that requires a updated tensioner? Was it a recall by skoda? -
Hi Guys Please offer me essential advice, im into mountain biking and fishing and after a reliable but fun run around that does it all enabling me to get my gear in the back of a vehicle easy. Narrowed it down to the vrs estate mk2 or Volvo v50 d5 r design. Really love the look of the skoda especially the blackline want more advice please. What's more reliable the 2ltr tfsi or 2litre tdi? I'm not overly bothered about diesel vs petrol, having owned a focus RS and a bmw 335d both was fun in there own way! Just want to know what engine is going to give me less hassle? What are common issues to look out for with each engine? im thinking a tdi is more likely to have been treated better as the tfsi enables big power and hard driving? From a remap what power figures am I looking at for each engine, reliability is key but is good to know? Thankyou for any advice you can offer me, hopefully I'll have a nice VRS estate soon
