  1. Hi @100andthirty, kinda missing the point! I've had to have several diesels over the past 10 years, which (try as the might) didn't have the nicest sounding exhaust. I haven't had a petrol car car since my mid 20s (last one was a Seat Leon Cupra R). Now that I have a petrol car again with a bit of poke, it would be nice to have a little burble from the exhaust. Nothing crazy though 😉
  2. Cheers @varaderoguy. Re the exhaust. I was trying to decide for a while between the superb and an octavia VRS 2.0 tsi estate. I went for the superb in the end. But I was at the supermarket last weekend and parked beside me was an Octi VRS, it had a lovely hummm on tick over which is a little lacking in the superb.
  3. Hi folks, I've recently purchased a 2018 Skoda Superb 2.0 Tsi, 220 Sportline in metallic black and love it. I'm from Ireland and unfortunately due to extortionate import tax, annual road tax and my general work commute the 280 4x4 was off the table. Having owned A4 and A6 TDI Avants previously, I have to say the Skoda is a revelation, especially the silky smooth (& pretty quick) petrol EA888 engine and DSG gearbox. While the performance is excellent, I would like a little more rumble from the exhaust, nothing crazy just a little burble!!! which might also include an air intake upgrade. Has anyone on the forum upgraded - I'm not really interested in modifying the bumper. I read a post by @drewelliswho updated his at ADS Automotive, which sounds interesting, I'd just be worried about reliability. Thank you! Dara
