That is a good suggestion, I will check it as in truth I did have to yank the door open a few times as it was frozen. Didn't open and I had to climb over from the passenger side which had melted more in the sun. I have maybe moved it out of alignment, don't know my own strength! Thank you for your help.

The problem has only occurred three times in the past two weeks and I drive the car twice a day. It only happens to the drive side door and so cannot be the whole of the internal locking system that is at fault. I only pushed the lock/unlock button when I could not open it from inside on those three occasions but it didn't work, normally the door just opens when I pull the handle to open it.

Thank you, yes I did contact them but this is only happens very occasionally so they will not be able to see the problem occurring. I asked them to see if anyone else had reported a similar experience but the lady on the service desk said she did not know and was not about to go and ask a service engineer. That's why I put a post on here to see if anyone else has heard of this problem. It may just be down to the really cold weather recently.

Good afternoon, I have a 2019 Karoq from new. In that last two weeks it has locked me in the car three times. I have turned off the engine, locked and unlocked it with both the key and the button on the dashboard. The only way to unlock the drive side door is for me to open the window and unlock/open the door from outside using the handle. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you in advance.
  5. I love my Skodas and have owned three Yetis and now a Karoq. I make full use of all of its features and love the versatility as well as the comfortable driving experience.
