good evening the fault your saying, am I right in saying the stereo shows the skoda sign and then switches off and keeps doing this?? if this is the case there is a firmware discs that skoda do have (Northampton dealer does) it flashes the software and reboots the unit the process does take some time so don't expect to wait for it but works and fixes unit hope this helps

hi peeps the car is a 2008 3t chassi, the car has got 108,000 miles on the car hadn't thought about seeing if skoda would help with the cost ill look at that tomoz :-) its a new car for me, haven't had it too long, im in Northampton, I know that the gear box that has to go in the car has to be the same that come out of it, you carnt change numbers, many thanks for advice gav

theres at least 2 green ones in northampton, progress skoda have one as a demo goes up for sale soon and the northants police have one as well, looks very nice in person

Hi Swindon Dave There is a update but not sure if it covers a 2010 car how ever I belive that i may have done one on a late 2009 car so this may well be the case the update isn't for speeding up sd cards its for a bolero rock curve fault but something with in the update changes the sd card set up pls don't hesitate to contact me regarding assistants or pls pass contact details to your dealer there listed above I'll be more than willing to help anyone, feedback has been sent to Skoda already ( But pls be aware that I have come across on 1 account different manufactures of the bolero stereos this has been limiting ad cards sizes and speeds) but feel free to contact me I'm bk to work Monday thanks again Gavin

good morning guys/girls i hope someone can help ive fitted columbus sat nav to my 54 plate mk 2 octavia ive got 2 issues with it and was wondering if some one can help me 1) the stereo is alot smaller and need to order a pre face lift surround does anyone know the part number i can get the face lift one but not the pre face lift ?? 2) the stereo seems to have a fan running on in the unit which is causing a battery drain does anyone know if theres a coding change or should i have fitted anything else to sort this ? many thanks for your time gavin

hi ive managed to lay my hands on the said above unit but it has a problem when turning it on it powers up on home page and then turns off and contiues to do so has any one or does anyone know any where that would be able to fix it many thanks gavin
