Hi,
I am looking for some advice about an interior central locking issue, please.
Vehicle is a 1.6 Diesel 2010 Roomster. I love the roomster, but had a few wiring issues recently, where the local dealer had to repair some wires in the rear loom.
Now I have another issue - the central locking works fine using the remote key fob or manually using the key from the outside. But, pressing the "rocker switch" to either unlock or lock the doors from the inside does nothing - i.e. the doors remain unlocked and the light on the switch does not come on - no "clunk" sound is heard as the central locking engages. It is page 32 of this manual - http://ws.skoda-auto.com/OwnersManualService/Data/en/Roomster_5J/11-2011/Manual/Roomster/A05_Roomster_OwnersManual.pdf - "Button for the central locking system".
Has anyone come across this before? I was hoping to avoid a trip to the local dealer if at all possible. Could it be a faulty "rocker" switch?
Thanks
