  3. Hi everyone im kind of running out of ideas now just want my skoda octavia mk2 vrs petrol to run right Had the car a long while now and never ran right...when i first got it on occasion like once every 10 presses of the clutch it would feel different and then kind of go soft and stick half way when releasing..changed dual mass..clutch..master cylinder with a luk kit costing around 800 with labour...problem persisted..asked mechanics they said nothing wrong..so i decided to take it apon my self to find why..i did a gear linkage reset a while ago and it fixed the problem then it shortly came back which is weird considering it surely doesnt play a part..the bleeding has been done lots of times with no change..so thats one thing...lately ive got a new problem..i reseated the induction kit whilest playing around..now the car seems to feel lump has a bit of a harder job to start and feels like the revs struggle to come down when let off accelerator pedal..after checking codes..i got lean code and miss fire cylinder 4...checked for leaks replaced plugs and coil 4 but problem still persists...im lost..im tempted to sell it or scrap it..such q nice car but this has hounded me and ive spend so much money..plz plz is there anyone here that can help me with advice..thank in advance

  5. Hi everyone. So I've been a member a little while and felt like I needed some more help and advice as I'm at a lost cause now let me begin to explain.. So I purchased a mk2 tfsi vrs. Fell in love almost instantly however as time went on it started to feel weird when letting go of the clutch pedal when changing gears. Sent in to a mechanic and I was told it was the clutch..so I got a kit online which was a luk flywheel and a bore and beck clutch..all replaced and problem still existed...I told them that the master cylinder had been replaced not long before I bought it which I was told...so back in it went and they investigated the master cylinder..came back with the seals were gone...so replaced that. 1000 pound later...the car bite point is very low..and gets stuck in 1st and reverse and after driving then sticking clutch down in 1st it feels like the car is still moving slightly...please please anyone shed some light on what to do..I can't afford to keep going back as I'm the one that purchased the parts and it's cost me a fair wack..just want to drive the car with none of these issues 😔
  6. Thanx for the advice...should I just get the clutch master cylinder replaced? To save trouble...its defiently a weird feeling at times when I release the clutch pedal almost feels spongy half way up
  7. Hi all new to the forum..I have a octy 2006 vrs tfsi...since I've had it I've noticed one thing other then that I'm already a massive fan of them however when I take my foot off the clutch after changing gears the pressure of the release changes almost goes soft and doesn't spring out.this happens once every now and again.it never stays in just changes..I've checked to see if clutch is slipping and nothing...always bites same place and strong but on release it feels weird at times..doesn't seem normal..any clever peeps here that can help me locate the problem if its one would be appreciated
