I need the car owner manual for Skoda Felicia 1997
IneedAManual replied to IneedAManual's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanThank you so much. Now we are talking my way of looking at data. I'll pay it forward by scanning the Instruction Manual when I get it and releasing it onto the www so people can find it. perhaps even send it to skoda themselves so they can add it to their free manual download stuff. Using picture recognition and some magic and a bit of coc... coca cola, I might be able to translate that Instruction Manual into English too.

I need the car owner manual for Skoda Felicia 1997
IneedAManual replied to IneedAManual's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanCannot check as I do not want to start the car right now in any capacity as if I **** up and accidentally make the car roll, I'm toast. We have very very strict car laws here and I have no license. I'm aware on most cars that you can turn the key only partway to use the lights and stuff, but I'm not taking any chances. I'll have my pop over to help me check such things later today and I'll come back later with some more details. Based on the car I showed you, what is it that I have exactly? You mention facelifts and all these things that I don't understand. I'm very "data" driven as I'm a computer guy, not a car guy, so having the full thing like "Skoda Felicia 1.3 MPi 1998 *Insert whatever fancy stuff here facelifts or whatever*" makes it easier for me to understand what I'm looking for instead of what most people say: Skoda Felicia 98, there done and done. Such things tells me nothing. It's like people who say "Ah GTX 1080" but then it turns out that they have "GTX 1080 Ti with X amount of Video Ram". Like there's several different motors for example. You got 1.3, 1.6 and a bunch of other wierd stuff.

I need the car owner manual for Skoda Felicia 1997
IneedAManual replied to IneedAManual's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanHonestly. No idea. I don't know much about cars at all. I do know the "clock" is not working. Here's a picture of the fuse box and the panel thing that I do not know the name of in english. My old pop and his friend said there was some issues. I'm just doing the pre-work to gather all the information we need and that I can possibly find out so he and I can take a look at it together so I learn something + speed it up a bit for him. Basically treating it like I do with everything else when I want to learn something. Research. What I wonder is why 2 relays are missing. They seem pretty important. This is just one of many tiny small things that needs to be fixed. I bet those missing relays is why the lights at the front too act wierd since according to the diagram, the left missing one is R2, Front fog relay. Because it was a very long time ago since I last tried to learn to drive cars, I don't want to turn the car on in any capacity so I don't **** something up without my old pop being there. Doing basic research like this is fine for now.

I need the car owner manual for Skoda Felicia 1997
IneedAManual replied to IneedAManual's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanFound out some more info: Our car authority thing says the car model is 1997. However, I managed to find the full "VIN" code on the car, and two sites so far say that it's a 98. On some websites the VIN code does not work at all and skodas own website could not find a manual. This is what the car authority says: The task is determined by the Swedish Transport Agency based on the following order: Vehicle year model. If the year model is missing, it is instead vehicle year of manufacture. If the year of manufacture is also missing, it is the year in which the vehicle was first changed to "on road" status. So two questions: How do I see if it's a 97 or a 98? Checked the VIN code digit, according to this table, it's 98. I got a W on the 10th digit. I have no idea why our car authority thing says 97. Maybe they confused W with V because V is for 97. And W is for 98. and, what type of manual am I looking for if I need electrical and stuff overviews? I found this for sale. The first book "Instruktionsbok" basically means "Instruction book" or "instruction Manual" The second book means "Serviceplan and Warrantyproof". I have no idea what the book below the second is. What kind of books did you usually get when you bought a skoda back then? The one that barely sticks out says "Tillägg" so I assume it's a book for options/extras. The book I have is called "Service Adresses" and just contains a gigantic heap of adresses for service locations. The picture is from the 97 according to the junkyard selling the books. Found this too: https://fusecheck.com/skoda/skoda-felicia-1994-2001-fuse-diagram Is that diagram what I'm looking for? I'll be getting the book in the picture anyways as I want as much information as possible. How old are you? Why does this matter to you?

I need the car owner manual for Skoda Felicia 1997
The previous owner pulled a doozy on me and did not reveal that there was no owners manual. What's done is done but anyways. I've been combing google now for a couple of hours with no luck. I need the manual where you can see all such fun stuff such as what different fuses do and all that as there's some problems I will need to deal with soon or it will be trouble. This is also my first car ever. This is the info I have about the car: Engine volume 1 289 cc / 1.3 l Cylinders 4 Valves per cylinder 2 Cylinder diameter 75.5 mm Stroke length 72 mm Compression ratio 10: 1 Engine configuration Straight Synchronization Timing chain Engine location Front Type of internal combustion engine Piston Fuel system Electronic Injection Engine code 136M Skoda Felicia 1.3 Manual, 68hk, 1997 NOTE: It's not the UK placement of the steering wheel. It's a Swedish sold car and thus the steering wheel is placed on the left side. I'm fine with the manual being in english, it being in Swedish is a obvious bonus. I know Haynes Publishing sells their own "manual" ish, but that deals with the UK versions and it's just extremly confusing to see everything "in the wrong order", especially as a new car owners who has never touched cars before. I tried looking at Skodas own website too, but they did not have 97. Regardless, thanks for reading. Have a good day.
