  1. Hi I am new to the forum. Great source of information cheers. I am posting this as an easy fix, sorted with great help from VW Assist today. I thought it may be useful for others. Fabia Mk3 (Fabia III) 2018 recently purchased via Skoda Approved Used. Not projector headlights. Standard H4 Hallogens. Just recently delivered having apparently had it's pre-delivery checks...... The Problem: Main beam not working when stalk pushed forward. MB working fine when stalk pulled backwards. Main beam not working at all when lights off (no flash when stalk pulled backwards). Dip beam working fine throughout. Replacements ruled out: Left stalk, main rotating light switch - both replaced no fix. Connectors checked at bulbs and light switch all fine - no fix. Bulbs checked - all fine. Coding checked - all correct. Solution: Fuse 36, 7.5A was missing. The guy identified this by referring to the wiring diagram for the light level adjuster. Note - this is not the main headlight fuse. So if anyone has main beam faults, check if your levellers are working. If not, then try above. I am guessing the vehicle maybe never had the fuse in the first place and the old owner just...errr... flashed people!
