  1. I don't think skoda internal lock button works with any door open.
  2. I think using the remote always sets the alarm(or maybe gets ignored if ignition is on).
  3. Recently my alarm kept triggering - I think due to built-in battery in the sounder becoming dud. It kept flattening the car battery if locked, but not if left unlocked. I took out alarm fuse but this didn't help and neither did button in door pillars that only suppresses ultrasound. Trick to leave car locked but not alarmed: Leave ignition on. Lower drivers door window. Get out, close door. Lean in & press centre Lock button Turn ignition off, and TAKE KEY OUT. Press UP for drivers window and get fingers out promptly! Hope that's useful - it's saved me getting flat battery.
