Hello team, i got my RS230 oil changed a few days ago by an indy shop. What i noticed was the service distance warning is still showing on turning ignition on and off and on the infotainment screen “oil change and service in next 10,000kms” Im sure the distance to oil changre warning only appears closer to service and im not going crazy. Does this mean the service wasn’t reset properly? Pics attached thanks.

As per pic, under the fog light i have noticed my front lower grille has popped up on one side. I’ve tried to push it back in with a little bit of force, but it doesn’t seem too budge. Are there any special tricks to popping it back in?

Hi 2017 RS230. Exhaust is completely stock. My left side muffler has a bit of a burble whereas the right hand side is completely silent. Is this normal or has some kind of baffle collapsed on the left side? Please see video. Thanks IMG_4539.mov

As you can see the fluid is cloudy and dirty looking. I’ve never seen any fluid look like that.

Yes they work fine. I’m thinking the brakes weren’t bled properly or I’ve triggered off the damn PITA manoeuvre braking half a dozen times (turned it off now) and there may be some dirty fluid that was in the ABS. Car has done 60,000kms

Had a brake bleed by the dealer 12 months ago…

I have a MY17 RS230 facelift. I thought the wider track was for RS245?

Hi team Anyone have experience of fitting a 18” x 8.5” +35 offset wheel to their RS230 using stock tyre size? (225/40/18). willtheyfit.com tells me there will be 28.7mm more poke. Hoping they will fit without rubbing. Car will be lowered a some point.

@DC04R the fitment looks spot on. Is there enough room at the rear to go a little wider with the offset? Say 35 offset wheel?

@john_20v is your RS3 knob a genuine one or replica? I’ve seen RHD and LHD options for knobs. Can someone enlighten me what the difference is?

Hi team, My radio station logos disappear when I change the preset saved stations i.e. if I rearrange stations I already have logos for. Is this normal behaviour for an Amundsen unit? cheers

An open letter to all mk3 wagon owners. Is it me or is it really hard to find wheels that look really good. I’m finding not a lot of wheel options give the Octavia wagon the ‘wow’ factor. 8 times out of 10 it’s a bit meh. Compare this to a Golf Mk7 where 8 out of 10 aftermarket wheels look fabulous.

Hello I have a stock 2017 RS230. I’d like a bit of sound from the exhaust but not too loud or drony. I think all generations of Golf GTI or Golf R sound pretty good from factory. A noticeable exhaust tone and burble without being obnoxious. Any recommendations on how I can achieve this? TIA
