Fellow members,
I have been reading this forum since long time as a Superb owner since 2015. Now it is the first time I needed to ask something. I hope you guys can help me.
Last month my father bought a Kodiaq 1.5 TSI DSG 150 Prestige as a retirement gift for himself. Here in Turkey, Prestige is the highest trim level in the market after the almighty L&K.
The car is fitted with Amundsen as standard in this trim level(You can see in the pictures). Here's the deal, Kodiaq DOES NOT have a functioning NAV section. Furthermore, it does not have the sd card unit in the glove box compartment (You can see in the pictures). My father is not used to Spotify or Youtube Premium eventhough he has memberships on both. He prefers to listen musics on his SD card.
When I press the NAV button, it says "The function is out of service"(You can see in the pictures). Also the compass does not work and when I choose it on the virtual cockpit (yes I can choose it), the dedicated area is just blank (you can see in the pictures).
I need a solution both for NAV and SD Card reader. Any suggestions? The car has wired android auto so the NAV is not much of an issue, the sd card thing is a priority at this point. Also is it normal that the android auto is not wireless. My younger brother has a 2021 Passat with discover pro (I know it is higher than Amundsen), and his car has wireless android auto. Is there any update etc. for that or is it just discover pro/columbus thing?
TLDR:
1- The NAV is deactivated, what can I do about it
2- No SD card unit. anything I can do about it?
3- Can I install anything to use my android auto wireless?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot
