  1. Hi guys. Ive had a bump on the front end. most of it is cosmetic and minor that I can polish out and sort myself however I’ve two main queries I’m hoping I can be advised on. drivers side headlamp enclosure. image attached showing the cracked front plastic. I’ve seen online that I can buy just the front replacement plastic but how easy is it to switch? It’s considerably cheaper than a new unit obviously. Is it doable? (Link here to replacement item mentioned) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115145493871?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=szpuVVmLR86&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=jG89AT9WRQ6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Radar Sensor. when I got the vehicle the dealer had this recalibrated for me at a cost of around £500. it doesn’t look damaged so I’m assuming it will be ok with the recalibration again. Does anyone know of any non official dealers that have the necessary tools to do this (again assuming it’s possible? Or am I just going to have to bite the bullet) Thanks in advance all! (I’m based in the NW Uk incase anyone had any local revommendations)
  2. Is this the correct screen? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi guys. Any update available for my Superb 2016? (Other than the map update)
  4. Nope…. Oem… however I did figure out that the Mrs left her sun shade down with the light on (it just wasn’t dark enough to notice at first) It looks like it was indicating internal lights were on as once I sorted that it locked without the pulsing. Just no mention of this in the manual….
  5. Anyone have any idea why when the vehicle is locked my puddle lamp is kinda pulsing / breathing… unlock the vehicle and it’s fine… lock it again and it goes back to pulsing… 🥴
  6. Drop me a pm if you’d like the video and I’ll email it over as too large to attach here..
  7. All done! Used a trim removal tool to help encourage the clusters out away from the body. Straight plug and play with the lights. have taken a video with one LED and one Halogen. There’sa BC real difference however I’m not sure it comes across that well on the video with it being dark and night time. Will try one tomorrow daytime and see if it’s more noticeable.
  8. South Lpool. Garston. Cars in the shop at the moment having the acc sensor recalibrated. Will let you know! Should get around to trying tonight all being well.
  9. Good shout! They’re slippy things when trying to be careful.
  10. Thanks guys! Just didn’t wanna pull too hard for fear of snapping a clip or something at the back that I didn’t know about. will give it a go! Many thanks!
  11. Hi guys, Looking to switch out my stock indicator bulbs with the Phillips LED’s that Ive bought on a recommendation from a thread here on the forums. Ive figured out to remove the plastic cover and access the two Torx screws to release the cluster but how the hell do i get it out from there!? Seems super tight at the back end, is there anything else securing it to the body that I need to access somehow? Worried about using too much force incase of damaging anything.... Doesn’t seem to be any videos of anyone removing the rear light cluster on YT either to watch... Anyone have any advice? Specific angles or motion to use to work the cluster out (and subsequently back in again after!!) Many thanks!
  12. It may not have been the best way to do it but a bit of brute force seemed to work…
  13. Hi guys. New owner here having taken delivery of a second hand Superb III this week. Just noticed in the rear passenger door that the window control switch seems to have fallen inside the panel somehow. anyone able to advise if it’s easy to get the panel out? is it a simple trim removal tool job under the edge or a whole door panel removal job? Thanks in advance!
