I think the issue is different. In my case, the tailgat is locked. If i locked the car, and try to open the tailget from the buttom from the tailgate it wont open. I dont think is a mecanical issue, i think is a sensor that see the tailgate still open

I think is a sensor in the latch. because the latch is working fine, i can close open the tailgate. Once i closed the car, the tailgate cannot be opened

Hi guys, I have a problem with my tailgate. It flash on my dashboard that the tailgate is not closed properly. Please check the video. From where i should start checking? The problem is, that the car will see the tailgate open, and it will flash the interior light. That will drain my battery.
