  1. Fuse 2 in cabin tested fine (I also tested every other in cabin and in engine bay(). I then tested the grey/black wire and it had 12 volts on it. so it seems everything is present? 1 Thick Red with 12v 1 Thick Red/Green with 12v 1 Thick Brown with Ground 2 Striped Orange ~60 ohms between 1 Black/Grey with 12v which loses power with ignition off I'm sure that is all it needs, I got this unit off ABS Repair centre and no longer have old unit(it did not appreciate disassembly, a clear mistake in hindsight).
  2. It's a 2005 Skoda Octavia Elegance, I think it's a MK70 ( code ends in 379p on controller)
  3. I'll have a look, I noticed you told someone else there was a grey/black wire on pin 20 which was fed from fuse 2 in cabin so I'll check there.
  4. Repaired the wires, now getting 12v on both the pins with large red wires (one red, one red with green stripe) and getting the negative at the other side. Between the CanL and CanH (orange wires with a stripe down them) I'm getting 60 ohms. Despite all this I'm still getting p1649 and cannot connect to the abs controller.
  5. Replaced the module and still no communication; Started testing voltages at the J104 Connector and while doing so noticed the battery box had rubbed through the wiring harness near the fusebox (severing some of the wires.). So that's my job for tomorrow and will hopefully have this Skoda back on the road.
  6. Thanks guys, appreciate your time and advice.
  7. None of the other threads have an answer for how to get the code for the replacement ABS module if the original is dead and not communicating.
  8. None are relevant I did not just come here through laziness.
  9. I have done already I found no ultimate answer
  10. Thanks MicMac, are there any guides that I can use to program the new one in I currently have VCDs Lite and a KKL Cable.
  11. Hi guys thanks for having me here; I've recently acquired a PD100 Octavia Estate MK2 which has a dead abs module (1K0 907 379P) and was wondering if I can replace it with a unit ending in "K". If so would it need coding in? Hoping I've put this in the right place.
