  1. Good idea thanks. Well I've checked the area around the connector to down the wire and have connectivity so that rules the plug out which is good. I'll have to take the airbox out to check the rest, thats a job for later Much appreciated!
  2. Hmm thanks, I've had a look where the PAS pump is and looks a bit of a mission even getting to it, might be a little beyond me :/ Would taking the 12v from another source, ideally ignition switched still work, if so I'd imagine a 5 amp fuse should go in-line?
  3. Ok thanks for that, the power steering is working fine so it can't be the fuse then, I took the plastic clip bit off the plug and can't see any obvious wire damage at that end but it leads down through the bulkhead so I can't check the other end
  4. Sorry yes this is both with ignition on and engine running
  5. Hiya, I'm new to Skodas and trying to get my girlfriends 2004 VRS sorted. Its been stuck in lower power mode for ages and as shes using my car now I want to get it sorted so for a runabout for me. I've found a P0102 fault (I think it was) with a bt scanner and Torque, replaced the MAF sensor and later discovered pin 2 does not have 12 volts supply like I think it should do. I have a good ground, 5v but no 12v on the plug. Does anyone know of any common faults that may cause the no voltage? OR would it be safe to run a fused 12v from the battery to pin 2 of the plug? Thanks, Ant
