  1. Again reported "slightly worn and corroded" but not condemned, and passed MoT. Thanks for comments.
  2. Thanks, I've had a pre-MoT chat with my regular local garage and they will be careful to give me an honest report! Perhaps Skoda should offer some guidance in the Owners Manual which contains dire warnings for every conceivable situation under the sun. Who writes these things? I think I know the answer.
  3. You might well be right about the next report, car still stops on a sixpence though (if we had such things)
  4. MoT in June 2022 reported front discs slightly corroded and worn. When does replacement become necessary?
  5. Thanks for that. Will know in couple of weeks.
  6. At last MoT my so-far trustworthy local garage reported slight corrosion on front brake discs of my 2018 Karoq. Next MoT due on 27 May - am I in for a big bill?

Thanks for comments. Booked in for further investigation next week. Silencer baffle sounds likely.

Thanks and you are correct. I'll ask for another investigation while engine is hot.

Hello Finding my way around this website! Rattle only heard when car is stationary with hot engine still running running after driving. Dealer has checked the whole exhaust system but I have doubts whether they listened closely to the rattle. It can't be missed.
  10. My 2018 Karoq 1.0 SE has a rattle in the exhaust when engine hot, and spits water onto the garage floor. I don't mind the water but my main dealer can't identify the cause of the rattle. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  11. Hello, joined after nine years of happy and faultless Yeti ownership, (3 by 3 years each) and changed to 2018 Karoq 1.0 SE in Summer 2019. Not yet convinced it was a good move, despite better ride, more room and surprisingly willing little engine. But it is bland, and easily overlooked in the carpark. Why Skoda ceased Yeti production is a total mystery.
