  1. EPC

Hi I’m not sure if I’m posting in right place. I have a 132 Skoda Citigo .. my EPC light came on the other day .. the car would start ,but then cut off straight away. The next day I tried my spare key. Car started straight away and it’s driving like normal. But EPC light is still on. Any suggestions ? I have it booked into garage but I have to wait 2 weeks for them to even do diagnostics. Could it simply have been the key that was the problem ? Tried changing battery in key , made no difference. Any help is gratefully appreciated

Hi I have a 132 Skoda Citigo the last 9 months. I don’t use the stop start as I’ve never had it in any other car and found it hard to get used to. So every time I start my car I turn it off. Yesterday when I started the engine , before I got a chance to press the button to turn off stop/start, a loud beep happened once and the stop/start flashes on and off constantly beside my mileage. I know this has probably been asked so many time so apologies in advance. Is this something I need to be worried about ? Or can I just continue to turn off stop/start? I’m still paying off this car and will be for the next 2 years so the last thing I need is for something to go badly wrong with it. Any help is appreciated ! Thanks , Tanya
