I've got a 2016 L&C Estate and apparently need to replace the front shocks. Lots of rattling and clanking so I'm believing what I'm told. I'm struggling to believe that an OEM part is the only option at £300+ for each shock and then the fitting and other bits. I'm told there isn't an aftermarket option that's compatible with the adaptive suspension you get on the L&C models. Is anyone experienced/knowledgable in this area who could give me advice. I'd plan to use my local independent garage whatever I choose to do. Many thanks

That's good to know. How would one know what was 'unwanted'? I didn't see a list of expected files on the Skoda upload site.

I repeated the exercise using a windows machine and it worked. Given the size of the Mac using market you'd have thought that the VW group would have a robust solution for Mac users rather than leaving it up to user groups to advise frustrated customers

I have a 2016 L&K with a Columbus unit. I've loaded the updated files onto a SD card and when putting the SD card into slot 1 or 2 I get the message "software update data is available". I then try and upload the data via the satnav settings menu (version information) and get the message " Error no data available. Please insert a source with software update data or check the source" Any advice on what to do next? Thanks
