wet passenger footwell mk1 estate
had the carpets out at the weekend and most of the water seeemed to be coming in from are behind glove box, Pulled off the cabin air filter housing which seemed to be the only way for water to get from bulkhead into cabin. there was a previous load off mastick from the previous owner, tried reapplying more sealent. after drying out the car, it is clear water is still getting from area behind glocbox. Does anyone know any more potential entrances for water on the passenger side from bottom of windscreen? Maybe behind the archlining And has anyone else re sealed the pollen filter housing and know a good way to do it?

wet passenger footwell mk1 estate
Since ive had my car have been getting a wet front passenger footwell after it rains. Having looked at the forum i checked a few things: - sun roof drains are working - the pollen filter is dry and the drain beside is unblocked - took the front wheel arch liners off and cleaned all the leaves out from behind them. - checked all doors after rain and all seals seam to working. It seems to take a bit of time to get wet as for the first day or so of rain this week it remained dry. It gets wet whether i drive it or leave it parked up in the rain. I would be grateful if anyone could let me know any more things worth checking and any more things i have missed

I have been hearing rattles and vibrations when driving my car. Was under neath today and noticed the heat shielding felt very loose, looks like the clips have corroded through the shielding and some bolts are missing. does any one know a way a can attach it back to the car securely where it has bust through.
