  1. I found this thread on another forum - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/technical-stuff/181312-fuel-slosh-sound-after-full-tank.html . Sorry for posting from another forum, I am just using it to better explain the issue I am experiencing and see if there are other Skoda owners who have come across it. Regards!
  2. Sorry if this (or a similar issue) has been posted elsewhere. If so, please point me to that thread. I have a 2020 1.5 TSI 150hp Kamiq. A couple of days ago, for the first time, I filled up the fuel tank to the max, or until the petrol gun automatically stopped. The street where I live is currently being reconstructed so this was where I first noticed the issue - a strange sound, like liquid moving around the fuel tank as I was driving. I understand that the fuel tank is full, but it is something I haven't noticed with any other car I have driven. Has this happened to anyone else? Please let me know if I should explain myself better, but I hope everybody understood. Cheers!
  3. Seasider perfectly explained the feeling. @skoda1982: I think it happens in all cars when the rear windows are opened, and I think only when the rear windows are opened.
  4. Outside temp these days is 25-30 C but the AC is not turned on. Other than Autolights, nothing else is on.
  5. I've noticed a weird behavior from the stop-start system in my 1.5 manual kamiq over the last few days. Namely, on the first car start of the day, when I drive it around town, the system works as intended, even with the engine not at working temp. But, on every subsequent ignition, the stop-start system does not work. There is nothing to consume the battery, except for the auto lights. Even when I go to the Vehicle status, the computer says that high battery usage is causing the behavior, but in reality that is not the case. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
  6. I would say it happens at speeds from 40 to 70 km/h (25 to 45 mph). However, I don't think the altitude has anything to do with it, as I have noticed it on different places (therefore different altitudes). "are things / passengers sucked out the car or stuff sucked in" - just weird feeling in the ears. I have felt it when the rear windows are opened, but I would say that is usual since it has happened in every car I have been in. But never when only the front windows are rolled down.
  7. Hi All, Not exactly something that could be fixed, I guess, just exchanging experiences. There is this strange cabin pressure that is sometimes so annoying with only the front windows rolled down (halfway or all the way). I would expect this to happen with the rear windows rolled down, but not with the fronts. Any thoughts as to why this might happen? Is it the car geometry or something else? Or perhaps this is something only my wife and I are noticing Cheers!
  8. I think that 90% of the low consumption that you all have is that you drive longer stretches at a time, without so much stop-start traffic. My monthly mileage (is it the same word for km? ) is around 500-600 km, so I can live with 9-10 l/ 100km fuel consumption.
  9. How you manage to achieve 4.3 to 4.5 l/100 km is beyond me Could be the quality of the fuel or the fact that I am covering very short distances (4-5 km), but I cannot go below 7.3 (usually around 9) in the city and 5.1 on the highway. I believe to be pretty light on the gas pedal
  10. I've had my Kamiq for a month now and I have to say that I have pretty much gotten used to it. However, as much as I think that this is a good thing to have in your car, I would only activate it when driving on the highway as that is where you are most likely to lose focus at some point. I sincerely doubt that I might wander off while driving on a twisty, curvy road.
  11. Hello Fellow Skoda Owners! My name is Darko, I am from Macedonia. (Hopefully proud) owner of a Skoda Kamiq 1.5 TSI. So far, I am absolutely loving every minute spent in the car. Fingers crossed it stays that way Cheers!
