Hi there My car is a Octavia 2.0 TDI vRS 2016 I have a scraping noise coming from under or around my timing cover. It can be heard best when cold and almost becomes inaudible when the engine reaches operating temperature. You can listen here https://youtu.be/U1Z8_rIjmKM I took to it to the local garage in Bellshill, outside Glasgow as I didn't want to drive too far. They diagnosed timing belt as the car had reached the 5 year mark, although it's only done 48,000 miles. They changed the belt with full kit (although I'm not sure if that includes tensioner) and when I got it back and started it after the engine had gone cold the noise returned. Any idea what it might be? I'm fairly sure the noise is from under the timing cover but not 100% certain. Any thoughts appreciated
