Talked to VCTool, they replied very quickly I must say! They told me that what I bought was a bad clone, and recommended this one instead

Hi, I'm own the Skoda 2021 (A8), and I want it to remember the Lane assist option after I turn off the Car. I just bought the ELM327, installed VCTool on my laptop, connected to my VCTool account. I've hooked the ELM327 to the car, opened the hood, put it on parking, connected it to the laptop via bluetooth. So far so good. But when I try to find the device on VCTool I can't find it. in the drop-down I only see "Com3" and "Com4", selecting any wont give me any device, also the "Test" button return no results... Any idea what to do?

Nothing.... looks like no one knows how to do this...

@omadonCan you please direct me to where to buy the "ELM327 OBD adapter"? Another (small question) do you know if I can just disable the beep sound when lane assist wants me to hold the wheel? Thanks again!

Hi, I own a Skoda Octavia 2021, with the "Lane Assist" feature. When I turn it off, next drive it will be turned on by default. so I can't disable it permanently. The thing is that the beeps are very annoying, driving without moving the wheel manually will beep. In case the road is straight (No need to move the wheel), it will beep after few sec... even if I hold the wheel with both hands... What am I missing here?

you're missing the point, this box does NOT exist in the latest models of the infotainment...

I don't have a rectangular shaped box in the glove box... anyone knows where it is located?

Hi, I'm new here and glad to see this active forum that might be a good source of information about Skoda! I want to install a subwoofer and an amplifier on my new 2021 Skoda, it has the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment. In the previous version, it was possible to hook into the system wires via the CD player in the glove box... In the current model there's no CD player. where can I find how to disassemble the infotainment to hook the speaker wires? Any information that you can share would be great as I currently have nothing... Thanks!
