  1. Benjos96, I disconnected the battery and then disconnected and reconnected the BCU (situated in the driver's footwell behind the interior fusebox) as I had planed to swap out/examine the BCU. There are 3x sockets that connects it to the vehicle but otherwise it pops out. Oddly, my interior lights are now reinstated without any further work. No sign of any water ingress and the electrical connectors are a good solid fit. Doing the same may help you, even if it just drains power from the BCU for a short time.
  2. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting on help in this forum.
  3. The control module I reckon. It's a circuit board behind the cabin fuse board. I mean it could be a faulty wire but I reckon that's unlikely on a 4 y/o 20k mile car.
  4. Evening, I have this same issue. Did you sort it? I have my suspicions as to the cause. Chris
  5. Hi, would it be possible for someone to send me this update please. The crackling has been torture for yonks. Thanks!
