Cheers Robjon, Thanks for the warm welcome and the heads up ref 15" vs 16". My folks are loving their new Scout version Roomster. Sorry to hear you had to change vehicle due to an old injury I luv discovering new places to go visit in and around England & like to mix motorway and B roads so the journey is varied. So the right tyres will be important.

NZ100 Hello again, cheers for the advice, did you have the 1.9 tdi Roomster??? What uprated springs & shocks did you go for??? What was the benefits you found, by changing them??? Yeah Wind deflectors on my to do list as well as a set of new tyres, any recommendations??? Is it worth changing to 16's ??? Currently on 15's and they look a little lost in the wheel arches tbh... What leather seats did you go for/ which make & model... Any things to look out for??? Any dont's??? Cheers Miss Roomster

Hiya HMR, Thanks for getting in touch. Really appreciate the offer but I am looking to get some hard wearing rubber mats, plus getting the windows tinted. So the Rooster had its maiden voyage yesterday, not too far, just wanted to see what she was capable of and see if there was any unwanted noises or rattles, or anything else to be worrying about.Currently happy with the oomph from the little 1. 2 tsi engine so far and no major issues thankfully. Going to be doing a full service. We are getting the windows tinted next month. Ideally some new tyres , my dad bought some nice black alloys when he first purchased the car. So currently on 195/55/15 . Luv the fact it's so versatile. We have a dog so it's just us & the dog 90% of the time, but glad we can have more room to play with and make the most of the space the Rooster offers. We enjoy going on adventures and plan on being able to use our car as a day van when we fancy it. Our toyota Aygo was fab but very restricting and our dear old Rav 4 Valerie was getting on a bit and not cost effective. So I am looking to do a reasonable amount of mods , nothing too pricey as I don't have the funds to chuck money at it at present ( Just had a very poorly doggy!! So have just settled a huge vet bill ) So simple effective upgrades & mods for the time being. Then see where we go from there. It was my dad's old car, he has had a few skodas over the years, a couple of fabia estates, a VRS fabia , this roomster and he has just upgraded to a newer roomster scout. So it was perfect timing , plus I got a good deal!!!
