I've been following this thread of messages about the Sparkrite bike carrier as i bought one at the weekend. I've put it together but am struggling to put it on my towbar. I can pull the level down 1/2 way but not fully down. Has anyone else had this problem. I don't want to force it in case it breaks the carrier and more importantly damage my car. When i put all my weight on the lever, it pulls the back of the car down and the car creaks. Any advice would really be appreciated. Due to use it tomorrow morning and wanted to do a little test run today. Thanks Caroline
