  1. Thanks for letting me know about this. Will sort out a new one. Cheers 👍
  2. Hi. New to the forum and after some advice please! My son has had a 2007 mk1 Fabia VRS for the last 3 years and the central locking has never worked. (Opens / closes electronically using the key fobs only). The other day his drivers door window regulator failed so we stripped the parts out in readiness for the replacement to be fitted. Decided to have a look at the door lock whilst everything was out and discovered that the bar that goes to the door lock from the locking system appears to have been snapped off some time in the past. (First time we have taken door panel off this side and missing part definitely not in there). Been looking at replacement repair kits but have not seen a lock similar to the one on my attached picture. Just to ask if this type of lock can be dismantled to allow a replacement bar to be inserted? Or is there a way to remove the key barrel section to allow me to insert it into a new replacement lock kit? Any advice would be gratefully appreciated 😁 !!
