My front drivers daylight running LEDs are not working and have been advised by my garage to rplace the headlight unit. They said If I could purchase the unit they would fit it (£30) as new one would be about £1500 they advised me to source a 2nd hand one. The unit in my car is 3T2.941.016.H but I can't find one anywhere - can a 3T2.941.018.H be used instead as it looks the same and the Ballast Unit?? etc have the same product numbers. Hi, I had to change a (xenon) bulb in my Skoda Superb L&K and ran into difficulties as its where its best to take the front bumper off. So in the end took it into garage who changed it but he said the LED DLR light on that side was not working - It's a good garage and he explained that its a bit of a grey area in the law whether you needed them (he said at the moment it's not a problem). Just wondering if they might be an easy fix for this, fuse gone etc. I managed to get the bulb out but couldn't fit a new one - could have running the car to the garage without a bulb in blow the LEDs? Neil.

Couldn't get into a garage so did it myself, only problem is I can't get the bulb spring clips to 'lock'. I'm practising with the old bulb so I don't damage the new ones but can't get them to lock in - its like the clips are going into the groove on the bulb casing. Anyone have any tips? Do you have to push against the bulb at the same time?

Thanks, I'm guessing it's worth getting them both changed at the same time as the majority of the job is labour.

Thanks yes I've just checked the back of the head unit and it says D3S, going to take it to a few garages tomorrow to see how much it will cost before I attempt it myself.

Hi, I'm looking for a guide on replacing the bulbs on a superb, all the guides I've seen don't seem to relate to my setup. It's the circular part of the headlamp setup - reading up on this its the xenon type of bulb. I've read it takes a DS1 type, is that correct. There's no mention on how to replace them in the owners manual so I'm guessing they want you to take it to a dealer. Looks like the front grill is locking the head unit in place. Any help will be appreciated.

I've just taken it back to my local garage and said almost exactly the same - so I'm now going back to where the rapair was done to see if they will rectify it. The garage said its quite a bit of labour to get it sorted so that was my best option.

Not that I know of (it was bought last year and I have all the garage documents), its a 2014 model. The car started cluncking shortly after the EGR repair/replaced - So I think its been taken off the get to that and hasn't been replaced properly.

I had a warranty repair done on the car a couple of months after we purchased it, the garage replaced the egr cooler/valve (sept 21) I've just had the car put through the MOT, which it passed. The mechanic said have you had you EGR replaced as I found a cover rattling about (he kindly gave it to me), I've attached a photo of it. Question is 1. It's it easy to put back on? 2. Should the original repair cover the work? I'm not sure if it's going to take slot of labor to get it back on?

I was thinking that as I've had it before on other cars, it was the twang sound that made it sound different. I'll pop it into quickfit and see what they say.

We've purchased a used 2014 superb MK2, 80k on clock. I've noticed the rear suspension is creaky, normally during damp weather. Today I drove it away and after about 200 yards there was a loundish bang from the rear - sounded like a large spring twanging (if that makes sense). We've had the car back to the place where we bought it once already and they have already done a few fixes (they have been very good). They took it to their local garage who said they couldn't see a problem with the creaking. Should we be concerned about the banging noise? - only happened once so far. Hi, I've just bought a 2014 Skoda Superb L&K and was just wondering the options for upgrading the Stereo as it feels a bit dated and have a few questions: 1. Can anyone recommend a Chinese Android Stereo that works well with this? (Reviews seem a bit hit and miss) 2. Will the Parking sensors display the graphics on the new radio 3. Will all the heating etc be displayed correctly. 4. Can I use the factory fitted TV tuner with any other stereo 5. If I don't upgrade the stereo can a reversing camera be retrofitted to the existing unit? Sorry for all the questions - any help would be appreciated.
