  1. The 'K03s' has a larger inlet by 2-3ml, 8fins instead of 12 and a k04 impellor, The exhaust housing is also slightly larger than a K03 and the boost limits are higher also. Some also have a silencer built into the unit *Disclaimer - K03S is the industry adopted name for the later type K03 but is not officially named K03S by the manufacturer. :P

The car had 3" dp/2.5" exhaust, FMIC and CAi with other bits above, i.e. injectors/maf etc. However bear in mind on the Ibiza the SMIC and exhaust is alot smaller than that of a golf TBH you do need these extras cause I would imagine the stock ones wont be able to flow the air for it The same set up achieved 240bhp on K03s turbo @ Jabba The AM04 figures were on Jabbas NEW rollers not the old ones.

  5. Where did you guys get details that the E05 will produce 270-280bhp??? They were run on 3 ibiza's well over a year and a half ago, 2 only made 235bhp and the other 250bhp, 2 blown up and if you read vwvortex u will find the same Dont want you guys going through the same thing the ibiza guys went through a year back read the threads on scn I had the fortune of having both the blown E05 units and stripped them down to check casting numbers and faults. Pretty much all the turbo has the same casting numbers as a K03s, the only difference was the exhaust impellor was larger, and on both turbos it was this that failed! Dont make the same mistake guys, the Ibiza boys were really dissapointed! Both of them which blew the E05 bought K03s turbos off us and ran the same map they had with the E05 and their comments were "There is no difference in performance" I ask that you read these threads for yourself on SCN and speak to these guys (Jools & Madmile)
  6. Hi, Some of you are aware that we have produced a True Bolt on K04 for K03 equipped vehicles. This turbo is 85% K04-22/23 as on TT/LCR/S3 210/225bhp engines. Our turbo bolts on to a stock K03 Downpipe, K03 mannifold, K03 lines and K03 Intercooler pipe.
