  1. It got a new battery after the timing chain , it got the timing chain done cos the car broke down wasn’t running and the garage said it was way out of timing , I don’t think it’s ever had the water pump done , I’ve managed to post a video of the noise .
  2. I tried to post a video of the noise but I’m un Able to , when I turn the key it’s like it’s trying to start then after a few goes it will
  3. I think the past issue I posted ended up being loose wiring if I remember rightly which was sorted and fine , could this startup problem be anything different to the pully
  4. Well when I took it to the garage they said it could be those VVT pullies because they weren’t changed at the time and that they are expensive . Could this be the case
  5. I’m having problems with my automatic Skoda fabia vrs , every other go at starting the car it won’t start I turn the key and it makes like a screeching noise and doesn’t start , then next time it will . It recently had a timing chain fitted
  6. Can somebody explain to me about the VVT pully and if they can cause start up problems please . My car had a timing chain fitted a few month ago I’m not having problems starting the car . Not every time but when I do it can take several attempts and when turning a key there is a noise .
  7. As far as I know the code was deleted and the engine alight came back on and the issue is still there the car still judders when idle
  8. Hiy I had a service after the issue started with plug change and all filters changed . It’s been scanned several times and still comes up with the same code ,
  9. I own a 2011 Skoda fabia vrs 1.4 automatic the car drives ok but when idle it’s rough and judders . The engine light is on and the code was to do with the map sensor which has been changed but the car is still the same any advice .
