Hi there wonder if anyone could help. Have noticed that water is building up on front and rear windscreen inside car. Its a real pain as have to use a rag to get all water off. something wrong i imagine! no water inside car to my knowledge. any suggestions appreciated. cheers fergus

Hi guys just had my car serviced in Maud. Very impressed good garage. Been told though that my timing belt needs changed. Cars just coming up for four years old but only covered 20K miles. Apparently Skoda have said it is now a time or mileage what ever comes first. 60K or four years. Seems a little odd to change it out at this age. All in they quote £250. Is this excessive for a timing belt change. Some feed back much appreciated.

Hi there I have an 05, 105 hp 1.9 tdi octavia with 19000 on the clock. It is on variable service at moment. The oil in it has been in for year and half now I fancy changing it. What oil would you guys recommend? Not concerned about cost just want good quality oil in engine. Many Thanks Fergus

Hi guys wonder if you could help. Noticed today whilst driving that the rear wiper just stopped half way. Closer inspection to mechanism, nothing unusual noted. To get it working again I have to lift boot and close to reset it. If I lift the wiper and wiper arm the mechansim works fine and can put bit of pressure on wiper arm and it will not stop, however if I return the wiper to the window it will do one or two full sweeps then stops usually half way. Cannot figure this out. Perhaps it senses the wiper is worn and stops to prevent damage? Wiper looks in fair condition. Thanks and suggestions most welcome

Hi there just bought a 05, octavia tdi 105 hp. Have noticed that in fifth gear (say 1500 rpm) there is a shudder that continues up to say 2000 rpm under full acceleration. After 2000 rpm there is no problem. Other gears this isnt a problem. The car has only covered 10,000 miles and just been serviced. Would appreciate some feed back if this is normal. Car still under warranty for one more month so thought best check it out! Thanks everyone Fergus Had a fabia tdi before and this wasnt a problem.

Hi guys wonder if you could help me out. Got a 1.4 TDI fabia (2004) with 26000 miles. Have noticed that oil appears out of the filler cap and gathers in the void below it. This to me is not right. Can only imagine to much pressure building up in sump. Could it be turbo fault building pressure up in sump. Seal on filler looks ok. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Fergus
