  1. Thank you. Looks like Skoda's income hasn't been affected by the lockdown that much. I'll continue to look for now.
  2. I had a chat with a couple of dealers yesterday after requesting some quotes on carwow.co.uk about the new Octavia and I was told new lead times are 6 months for 1.0 eTec engine, 3-4 months for 1.5 eTec and 1 month for any plugin model. I was surprised to see he didn't budge at all when I tried to haggle a bit, he said the Skoda standard offer (£2k finance contribution, 4.1% APR) is the best he can offer. Meanwhile, first Seat dealer I spoke to offered me 6k deposit contribution to get a Leon plugin hybrid. Maybe I lost some of my haggling skills during the lockdown, but I would expect they would put some effort in trying to convince to buy a car with such a long lead time.
