Evening All, As put in the title I want to change the Stream radio to a RCD330 in my Octavia VRS Estate 2007. I have read close to 100 posts/articles/videos about it and have narrowed the process down - there are jus at a few queries. 1. Buy RCD330 unit (easy) 2. Buy new Fascia 2. Buy Upgraded Gateway . . . . . Is there a specific number the 07 Octavias were given so I can just search for the updated one or do I have to look at my specific unit to then order the correct upgrade? For example all the models on ebay I found for Octavia 2007 are - 1K0 907 530 then the 'L-AA' Is this correct? 3. The garage will be coding it for me so does it matter what number gateway I get (Apart from making sure its 'L' or higher) After that I am going to assume all is going to go smoothly! Final thoughts - Are there any better stereos suitable now? All I can find are Xtrons which are quite expensive and the usual suspects from Halfords.
