Dear people,
Your views please. We've owned many VAG cars over the years, including 4 Skodas. I'm currently in a Peugeot.
I was very keen on a Scala 1.5 SEL manual (not keen on the small capacity TSI as had that in a Yeti, with a DSG, not good).
So I test drove the Scala. Loved everything about it except.. the driver seat, which I found flat under thighs and lacking in side support. I did try different adjustments, but you know, trying out cars just isn't as relaxing an experience as it was pre Covid.
I'm 5'9 and weigh 75 kilos. I don't usually have problems with car seats. Was comfortable driving Fabia, Yeti, even Citigo.
I'm wondering whether I just got too used to the sports seats on my Peugeot..
Would be interested in how other people find the Scala driving comfort wise. I do 300 mile motorway trips in the Peugeot with a couple of breaks.
Also, are the seats on the Scala Monte Carlo better? They didn't seem to think so at the dealers.
Many thanks!
