What extras have been taken off?
-
I'm not quite sure, never had roof bars on a car, so that might explain the noise
-
I washed the car this afternoon, and put roof bars on, now it sounds like I've got a wheel bearing gone :-/

Hi all. In the process of buying a octavia hatchback mk2 vrs, and was wondering what was the best roof rack to get? Cheers

Hi everyone, How easy is it to retro fit cruise control to a mk2 octavia vrs? Cheers

Hi all, I'm looking to join the skoda world again, I've been looking for a while, I'm stuck between a couple of cars, one being a 2.0 tdi scout, and the other being a vrs tdi estate. I'm generally after an estate, but unsure between the two models at what would be a wiser decision. I hope you can give me some guidance :-)
-
Don't fancy a mk4 gt tdi do you?
-
Whereabouts are you located please?
-
No, I haven't been in since the last time I saw you :-) with night shifts, and being on call during the day, I don't have the time no more lol

Anymore updates?
-
Remapping doesn't bother me. I wouldn't remap the vrs, as that might speed up the problems renowned on the tsi engine.
-
To cut a long story shut, I'm in a position where I can treat myself to a fairly new fabia. I just need peoples advice as to which would be better? I know the vrs has it's problems and the diesel will be more economical, but I'm a fan of the dsg gearbox. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Richard's mk1 Fabia thread. (Yes, I have a mk1 Fabia problem...)

When is the other fabia for sale? -
The n-cap rating of the citigo is 5 star anyway, and the side impact test provided good and adequate protection, so anymore must be a bonus. And with Richard sitting a fairway back, the b-post hoop should provide protection.
