Yes, DQ250 six speed. Noisy yes, a big thud as it seemingly drops the clutch. Seems a bit better when hot. I'll probably leave it in lethargic standard drive mode for now.

2.0 VRS petrol

Car is MY16. 125 000k's. DSG service done @ 120 000k's. Started driving more in manual mode recently as I hate how early normal mode upshifts and sport mode keeps the revs too high. Every morning 1-2 shift in manual mode is very rough but if I move it back to normal and repeat take off it will be fine. Any idea why the difference? Manual mode programmed to slam gears no matter throttle input?

Looking for more info on adaptive cruise control Were there software updates to it over the years? Can I see what version I have? Is it an off the shelf system that other cars use like Bosch etc.? Is mk4 smarter than mk3? Love it on my MY16 but wonder if newer models would be smarter. i.e. if I'm doing 100 and come up on a car doing 80 it will slow to 70 then speed up to 80 to match the car in front. And I find it should be quicker to brake in traffic jams.

See photo attached. Other side is fine. Do I need to replace? Or can I bend straight? If I push down it just lifts again shortly after.

I did the Vibrant resonator replacement, it's a bit louder but barely and still no DSG fart 😞

Hi, in my last car with climate control I could set it to 23.5deg and it would reach that and be fine. In my Skoda if I set it to that, it will never reach that, more like 25deg. But if I set it to 20deg it will come down to 23deg. So it's not an issue if it can reach the lower temps, more of an issue the system doesn't think it needs to. I'd love to know what the car thinks the cabin temp is, it's obviously wrong, too high. Anyway to check?
