Finally got message from Marshall, that my car has arrived at UK port. I kept receiving fortnightly messages from them since I ordered July 2021, but up till April it was "waiting for a build week to be allocated". Fingers crossed. Long wait, but there were no better deals around since late 2021 anyway. 1.5 SEL petrol manual estate. All standard except rough road pack and all season tyres.

I ordered SE L 1.5 manual estate end of July when they were running 0% finance deals. Was told by Marshall Skoda that it will take 18 weeks, which means I should have got it around now. All I keep getting instead is fortnightly emails saying "We are still waiting for the factory to confirm your build and allocate a build week". I'm mentally prepared that I will not gonna get it until summer and only hope that they will honour finance deal and price. If they take any longer might as well cancel and pre-order next gen Superb coming out late 2023 🤣.

Hi, I have been quoted 20k £ my own money on pcp 0% deal. So it sounds like an awesome deal. Was trying to get test drive but no one seems to have 1.5 manual SE in stock to try. I tried high spec SE L DSG and it was nice. I used to dislike auto boxes but this was the best I have driven so far. Loved paddles for overtaking. What I did not like was lane assist, I assume, trying to wrestle me steering on my own. I have few questions in case someone has a bit more insight: 1. Is 1.5 manual kangaroo sorted on mk4? 2. Could SE trim with manual clocks be more free of software troubles? Will I hate myself for not getting SE L? I would like tinted windows in back for kids and navigation in clock area, but not sure if £3000 more is worth possible software issues. 3. How realistic is 17-21 week lead time currently? Was thinking about superb but no 0% deal and used prices currently does not look attractive when you factor in all maintenance and resale costs. Thanks in advance.
