  1. Up and update: Changed the dipped bulbs and the problem still persists, there were different bulbs in the left and right sides so I might just ring up the previous owner to see if he had any changes done to it, but I'm still open to suggestions. My last resort would probably be changing the steering wheel lever itself.
  2. I haven't done any changes to the dipped beams, but since bulbs are pretty cheap I'll probably just grab 2-2 bulbs and replace both the main and dipped beam bulbs and see if that fixes the issue.
  3. Hey everyone, I had just bought a 2004 Octavia 2 and I have been experiencing a rather strange issue: After turning on the main beam (blue light on dash) it turns off after like 10 seconds and the blue indicator on the dash stays on. Same thing happens when I pull the lever towards myself and hold it, it turns off after 10s with the blue indicator stays on until I release the lever. Also the yellow/orange light bulb indicator is on on the dash, which per manual indicates that one of the bulbs don't work anymore, but all of them are still functional even the license plate lights. Things I have checked: - Fusebox and relays: fuses shouldn't be an issue, because if they were then the lights would even turn on, there aren't any "main beam only" relays per manual, only left and right side light relays, which when removed causes the whole side to not light up - Bulbs: took out both of them and hooked them up to a power supply and both of them worked without a problem - OBD2 scanner: I hooked it up to a OBD scanner but it didn't find any problems My next guess would be the lever itself at the steering wheel but before I take it apart and/or buy another one I would like some input if someone have already experienced something similar to this.
