On my Scala (2022 SEL DSG) I cannot seem to see any option to set the pressures independently of one another.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I reset the TPMS warnings as soon as i had checked the pressures. I had not considered the temperature of the tyres when i checked the pressures, so thanks for pointing this out. Most of my driving at present is short distances locally to me, but what is weird is that the warning lights have always come on during motorway driving.

No. Alarmingly, it was not them. Suggests that more than one dealer are doing it !!

Hoping that someone on here can help me.... My 22 plate Scala had a puncture to right rear tyre after about 18 months and it was replaced with a similar quality tyre. Since then, I have had a number of 'tyre pressure warnings' for this tyre. Each time this appeared, I pulled over, checked the pressures and all were Ok. I took the vehicle to the local dealer and was informed that the system took time to learn about the replacement tyre and that it would all sort itself out. I have used an electronic inflation device to inflate tyres to 2.4 bar (vehicle not loaded - normally 2 adult occupants only). The pressure has been validated by use of another tyre pressure gauge. Since then, I have had regular tyre pressure warnings (sometimes to all tyres, but mainly to the same right rear). Again, tyre pressures all checked and all OK. I took the vehicle in for the 3-year service to my Skoda dealer and asked them to check this issue. I was told that all of my tyre pressures were at 1.7 bar, when they should be at 2.4 bar !! I explained that this was not the case and that I regularly checked the tyre pressures. When I returned home after the service, I decided to check the tyre pressures. Three were set at just over 45 PSI (3.1 bar) and the right rear was set at 51 PSI (3.5 bar). Pressures were checked by my electronic inflation device and also by getting my local tyre shop to validate my readings. I went back to the Skoda dealer and explained all this, and was told that their tyre inflators had just been calibrated and that they were accurate. I was told that the problem was mine and not theirs. Any suggestions as to how I move forward? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for suggesting service manuals. I did not know these were available on this site. Ive looked at the appropriate document but the resolution of the picture on Page 133 is very poor. After undoing the T30 bolt, do the seats simply slide out? Thanks again.

Hi Does anyone happen to know how to remove the rear (upright) seats from a Skoda Scala 1.5 DSG SEL? I have located and undone the central T30 bolt that resides under a Velcro strap between the two seats but cannot determine how the seats come away from the white plastic lugs at either side. Might be simple, but did not want to use brute force and break something ! Thanks in advance. Geoff

I’ve asked them a couple of times and have got nowhere. I see it as a totally reasonable request. However, the dealership rep basically says that I should simply refer to My2022 specs on the Skoda site. My problem is that these specs only exist on the rep’s Skoda iPad app and are different to those on the Skoda uk configuration website. The specs also regularly seem to be changing, with things like rear camera and spare wheel apparently now being standard and some other items being made chargeable. I am not prepared to commit to £20k + if I am not being told exactly what I’m paying for.

Thanks for the reply. When you ordered were you provided with a detailed breakdown of the features that would come on your new car ? The reason I ask is that I am about to order an SEL with a number of add-ons and the dealer is ignoring all my requests to provide this at point of order. He is basically saying that I will receive a MY2022 Scala but cannot provide me with a document that states that it comes with a spare wheel, virtual cockpit etc

Did you have any other extras fitted to confuse the issue, or was it just the tailgate design pack? What is the dealer planning on doing with the incorrect vehicle, as I need an SEL urgently ?

I bought a 20 plate auto SEL and sold it on after 6 weeks. 1. Couldn’t fit a reversing camera 2. It was so looooong 3. Front brakes very squeaky Very comfortable ride though.

Hi there, Looking at buying a new one of these. Been quoted 21 week delivery timescale, which I'm fine with. I have been told that the vehicle comes with rear camera and traffic sign id as standard in the new editions and the July 1st brochure also confirms this. However, when I look at the car card specifications downloaded via the Skoda configuation tool, there is no mention of either. The added extras that I have selected are as follows: Heated front seats and washer nozzles £270 Voice control £25 USB-C port by rear view mirror (charging only) £50 Travel assist £610 What is the best way to guarantee that the new vehicle comes with these ?
