  1. Some of the sellers on eBay seem to have less than 100% ratings. Barrows the field a bit for me. Regards, djp
  2. Do dealers sell blank Skoda SD cards (stupid question, I guess...)? Regards, djp
  3. Interesting. Worst case scenario, you got an extra Skoda SD card for under 30 quid...😉. Regards, djp
  4. Very interested! I finally established that I have an Amundsen 1 (5E0...), so if you have anything that will work with, I would be very interested indeed! Regards, djp
  5. I'll give it a go. Thanks for the comments! Regards, djp
  6. And no problem copying the old files back to the original disk if disaster strikes?
  7. Cool! Thanks for the guidance!
  8. Thanks for the tip. Not sure if I'm fully comfortable in re-formatting the original Skoda SD card. My plan was/is perhaps to use the purchased card as a "crash test dummy" for formatting purposes. Anyone had any confirmed disasters in formatting an original card? Regards, djp
  9. Sorry if this is an old question - I did a quick search but found nothing relevant... ...has anyone here bought Sat nav updates off eBay? If so, how did it work out for you? Were the sellers reliable? Did the software go ok for you? Would be v interested to know your experiences. Regards, djp
  10. Hi, On my second Octavia (Mark III 1.6 diesel estate DSG Elegance spec). Been lurking for a while and have found interesting info here in my time. I'm reasonably house-broken, so no arguments are anticipated... Regards, djp
