  1. What sort of repair kit is this?
  2. Helpful to know, thanks. I am considering Seal Insides for my daughter’s car now, even though it’s factory-new, and for my own car next time I replace tyres through wear or damage. 85k takes me three years, and I would expect a couple of punctures in that time. How long have you had the Seal Insides? If it’s, say, a year or more I would be confident they are making a difference. For me that difference would be well worth the extra cost.
  3. Thanks for the photo. Good news that you got some limited ‘runflat’ capability from the product. Is that a factory coating (eg ‘Seal Inside’), an aftermarket additive (eg ‘Puncturesafe’) or a roadside post-puncture gunk treatment (eg ‘Tyreweld’)?
  4. In the absence of anyone reporting what actually happened when they got a puncture in a self-sealing tyre, are you now able to answer the question yourself? Have you kept those tyres, and been unfortunate enough to have a puncture?
