  1. Hi. I am still having issues with my 1.6 16 valve Roomster 3 (07/07 plate) automatic - non DSG. I have took it to skoda and two independent garages and they all said its the wiring loom! So I have replaced the wiring loom and brought a new switch I have even put new fuses in! All fitted and guess what.... Still no electric windows!!! Please help. I love the Roomster. Love the look/style and it's ideal for my wife's wheelchair etc. But at this rate I'm gonna scrap the Roomster. > I've done that hold for 5 seconds. What else could it be? Thanks.
  2. Thanks for this info, I have been looking for something like this since I got "Roo" It's been a God send and very helpful. By any chance you have any pics of the headunit after it was all fitted in etc. Thanks again From Sean.
  3. Hello all. I am after a headunit for my 2007/07 plate Roomster. I would like to keep it Skoda. I am after a touchscreen where I can plug my USB stick in and listen to my music or even a SD slot. I am not after Sat Nav and I am not after DAB, and j am not after reversing camera's. What headunit should I get please as apparently some can drain the battery and or not compatible etc. Thanks again. From Sean.
  4. Hello all... again 👍 I am looking at getting a Skoda RCD 510 headunit. The thing is the seller says its not compatible for pre 2008 Skoda's. Why? The only thing the seller says it will drain the battery and the wiring is different. I have never heard of this before... I thought skoda to skoda will be ok? No matter what year etc, wiring not a problem... but the drainage, that's new to me. Is there a way around this please? I am trying to keep it standard as possible but with subtle upgrades etc Thanks again
  5. Hiya I was just wondering if anyone has the black edition alloys and maybe the headlights for sale please. Thank you and ill look forward in hearing from you soon.
  6. Hello. I brought my Roomster last month. All doors opened when viewing it, fresh mot etc. Got it back cleaned it, all doors opened etc. But now the rear passenger door on the nearside won't open, won't open from the outside or inside. Can it be easily fixed? I was thinking of disconnecting the battery... maybe that will "reset" the system? Apparently it could be a fuse? But if it a fuse the other doors wouldn't open would they? All other doors and boot open from outside/inside and lock fine. I have also tried the spare key and still the same issue.... Not really an issue with me as I am using it as a van... but Apparently needs to be working/opening for a mot... Thanks in advanced for the help and tips 👍
  7. Hello all. I want to tint the rear lights on my roomster, but I noticed there is no reflectors on the rear bumper... are they built into the rear clusters? I know you need rear reflectors for the MOT.... so can I tint them or not or if I do do I need to buy aftermarket ones and place one the bumper? Thanks .
