  1. Hey, I have a -15 Fabia Combi. Recently I've activated US blinkers through VCDS and really love the look of them with the LEDs up front. I just don't like how the halogen low beams go with the blinkers and LEDs currently. I was wondering, is there a way or VCDS tweak to make high beams accessible without low beams being on? (as in not pulling the lever towards myself, that obviously makes them light up but only for as long as the lever is held.) The high beams obviously won't come on when the lever is pushed away when the light switch position is on 0 or parks. So far I've tried setting the auto light activation threshold so low the low beams would never come on and I'd get to keep the light switch on AUTO but that was a miss. Any help? Kindest regards Atte
  2. Hi, I have a -15 Fabia Combi. I recently activated US blinkers through VCDS personally. After a week of no problems, I decided to lower the brightness on the blinkers so they'd match the brightness of the DRL's when in parking mode. (Parking mode is when they'd turn on, since they're extremely illegal here.) Slowly after, things started to get weird. The first few times something would occur it'd be something like the instruments (cauges and radio) rebooting, then it evolved into all sorts of crazy electrical issues. Below is a link to a video I captured of these occurring: https://imgur.com/a/i79wdXW -The car tells me there's something wrong with the wipers. -It then proceeds to inform that the hood is suddenly open. -At this point the car goes into a shock kind of state where nothing electrical works. The low beams turn on, and trying to fiddle with blinkers or highs does nothing as seen in the video. -After a few seconds the car will tell me to check the coolant and finally ask for wiper fluid. In this state nothing electical works as seen earlier, not even the hazards turn on. -The car will remain in this state until restarted. After a restart, all electronics work perfectly and there are no errors. After removing all set tweaks for the blinkers, no issues occur. What could be causing this? I know the blinkers aren't made to be on all the time, but why did they work well for a week and then go ham? Could the brightness change have an effect? Has anyone else gone through something like this?
