That's helpful. I've had an airbag warning light on and off for a while too. I had it done a couple of times and the guy said it was water in a joint in the drivers side footwell. Weirdly though it was on for months then went out a week or so before this new problem started. Certainly worth taking a look. Thanks for the suggestion

I've had a load of lights come up all together. The yellow power steering warning, ABS, intermittent ESP, flashing red exclamation mark and an emissions workshop warning all came on when I started the car a couple of days ago. Additionally the speedo has stopped working and the fuel gauge needle won't settle. I took it to a local VW Audi specialist who plugged his laptop in and told me it's "probably" the ABS ECU as the software was unable to communicate with it. I get that the ABS can affect the ESP and power steering but would it also affect the speedo and fuel gauge? I'm not convinced it isnt a dashboard problem. Any advice would be appreciated. The car is a 2007 2.0 TDI estate if that helps
