  1. HI, I just wanted to add to this thread, as I've had problems also with the ecall feature on my 2020 Scala. When I did a scan I had the following codes: 1) 2566 HEX(A06) B105413 000 VAG-Text: GPS antenna Open circuit DTC-Text: GPS-Antenna - Interruption Fehlerart: Circuit Open 2) 13631561 HEX(D00049) B200049 000 VAG-Text: Ctrl. module faulty DTC-Text: Control unit defectiveAnalog circuitry Fehlerart: Internal Electronic Failure The open circuit fault triggered at the same time that I saw the yellow warning on the dash. The open circuit fault is now passive and the e-call button has the green illumination so appears to be functioning. I always have the "ctrl module faulty fault" in the memory, I asked the dealer and they said that there was no fault which puzzled me! In case anyone has something similar here are the ECU details: SW-part number: 5WA035282 HW-part number: 5WA035282 SW version: 0083 BL-version: 0025 HW-version: H14
  2. I recently bought a scala but went for the 1.0 due to some problems I read about the 1.5. Skoda may have resolved these now so it might be worth double checking. Will you be going manual or dsg?
  3. Hi, I’ve recently acquired a 2020 Skoda Scala so thought I’d join the forum. I am automotive engineer specialising in gearbox calibration and diagnostics. I’m hoping to be able to contribute and help where I can and learn stuff at the same time!

I just wanted to add to this post. I have a 2020 Skoda Scala and I made a coding change to enable the previous setting of lane assist to be remembered. I also coded my Friends 2021 Passat in a similar way. Quite happy to share details if people are interested. Someone kindly posted here on how to do it, the Passat was slightly different: Seat Cupra forum
