  1. Thank you for your message The ac specialist replaced the compressor and refilled the gas. Then was stumped to diagnose why it didn't work after that, but the Compressor was faulty. Ac, It's still broken yes... I think it's best to take it to Skoda main garage and let them have the car. I agree, going down the road if replacing components which are not broken will get expensive. Initially a visual check of connections, filters and fuses were carried out... but then it's a matter of leaving it to experts... It's always best to know your limits with systems, or can be dangerous. cheers
  2. Thank you very much for your help, I will take a look at it
  3. Thanks... yes it's genuine. It's worth the cost, as a non genuine could cause more damage. I will send an e-mail to them, they should know. Cheers
  4. Thank you very much for your reply. I have read the forum thread, although they are talking about a different issue, I am thinking they could be related. As these three items are mentioned in both their scan and mine, maybe there is a battery issue with my car. I can't see the reason why these three items pop up in the scan, maybe parts of module the scan couldn't access, or not functional. Thanks again cheers
  5. Hi all... just an update to my question... any suggestions or anything someone had similar to suggest why my VCDS test shows these three faults without codes would be much appreciated cheers
  6. Hi all. May I pick any VCDS experienced members brains please. The ac doesn't work on my car. The fusses are ok, compressor replaced, gas replaced. The ac doesn't blow cold. I scanned with VCDS full version and noticed three items that pop up. However having searched many other scans online, the scan pops up with items that do not have any associated fault codes, which normally are indicated on other scans I have seen. Also, the DTC will not clear. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what they mean as they don't come up as faults. Any help would be very much appreciated. I don't do much with the VCDS and my experience is very limited. Thank you very much Jon The attached is a photo of the screen
