Skoda Superb 2018 190bhp 6speed dgs grinding noise when coasting
Hi, I have a skoda superb 2018 that I bought a while back. The other day I reacted to that it have a faint grinding sound when coasting and letting the rpm go below 1k and it changes gear between 3 and 2 like when you are letting go of the accelerometer before you stop for a red light. It's very faint and I haven't reacted to it before but now it annoys me and there more it annoys me, the more it worries me. It dissapears when the car gets warm and I only notice it between 3rd and 2nd gear. Any ideas? The sound might have been there all the time, hard to say...

Change third brake light - remove spoiler?
Yes, when you don't have a spoiler over it but there is no space to get it in so it is what it is. Have no clue how to fix it. Trimmed of all extra plastic on the lamp etc, it just don't get in with the spoiler in the way. PS. It's an original spoiler that was in one of their accessory packages in the Nordics.

This is about 2 years late but how did you modify the new unit? I have the same freaking problem ad the mechanic doesn't even want to touch it even do that he broke the old one to pieces without asking me. (Smart move, not)

Ocativa 2012, change brake light without removing the spoiler...
Yeah, it was part of an upgrade package that they used to have in the Nordics. I've seen cars from ermany with it also.

Mine has a factory mounted spoiler at least. Seen it on quite a few others to. See the picture for it. I have it allt sped up now when there is no breaking light there.

Ocativa 2012, change brake light without removing the spoiler...
Hi guys, new to the forum and have become quite desperate. Have a Octavia estate from 2012 that I really really like, except one thing. I need to change the middle break light on it, took it to a repair shop, they managed to get it out just to realize that they can't get the new one in because of the spoiler. So freaking annoying. I found a topic here discussing it and that that person managed to change it without removing the spoiler but sadly enough he didn't describe how he modified the break light. I have a feeling that he shortened the pegs on it but I don't know by how much etc and start experimenting without knowing exactly what I am doing feels like a bad idea right now. lol So, therefore I have turned to you guys. Any ideas how to fit a break light without removing the spoiler? BR, Anders
