  1. Hi all, My wife has a 2012 fabia greenline 1.2 tdi. Its done over 100,000 miles now but been pretty much problem free in all the years we've had it. The problem we have is that for the last few winters the coil light periodically comes on then no issue through the rest of the year. Thought it mite be the stop start battery but i was told it was at 92% and ok. A few weeks ago the coil light came on again followed by the engine management light. It's been in the garage and all they found was a split booster pipe. That cleared everything for a few days but today the engine light came back on so still something. Just wondered if anyone has had similar issues!
  2. 🀣 thanks, glad everyone's sleeping ok! πŸ‘ Yes its all done nice and neat. I have the S model and ive lost the skill of reversing after years of driving my other car with sensorsπŸ˜‚.
  3. Hi @NZ100 I fitted some parking sensors and wanted to fit the control box and all the wiring behind there out of the way!
  4. the boot cover showing the location of the 2 screws and and the clip.
  5. Thanks @CrimeaRiver. I took the panel off today so i will list what i did for future reference. First i removed the white pillar cover. Remove the cover labelled (airbag) to reveal the screw then it unclips and pulls down. Next remove the trim from the boot lock area. 2 screws hold it in place then there are 2 clips at the far sides in the boot (pull out) and 2 clips and 2 locating screws on top (this should lift up). With that removed it will reveal 3 screws all torx. Unscrew the the pull down hook. Lastly is the 2 lugs. Remove the cap covering the screws and remove. These screws are ALAN key not torx. The panel should then pull away popping out the clips holding to in place. Refitting is the reversepillar screw2 of the 3 screws revealed. The other in the bootx2 alan key screws Hope this helps someone in the future.
  6. Thank you @CrimeaRiver thats a great help! Just one thing how do you remove the hooks that are arowed? Do they twist or just pull out. I had a quick look but don't want to force them.
  7. Hi all just wondering if anyone knows how to remove the boot panels in the roomster. The black side panels. I cant find info or videos anywhere. Please help 😊
  8. Hi @stratosg i removed the whole loom from the car as the wires looked shot! I tried repairing them but although i had continuity in them i wasn't confident they would be ok when bent. No joy they were the same when back in. The passenger wires look ok. I've ordered a replacement loom so ill see if that fixes it.
  9. Hi @ChrisTids yes the bumper seems to be of a se car or something so ive ordered some sensors to fit. I checked the crankcase breather and all good thankfully. Thanks for pointing it out though.
  10. Thank ken, Ill see how much they want to rob me of and make a decision.
  11. Thanks, im not sure if it has remote locking but it is alarmed on the key operation and the key opens the drivers door or all door. Any idea if a skoda dealer would be able to do a key fob?
  12. Hi, i know fobs have been talked about before but i can't find my answer. I recently bought a 2011 Roomster that only came with a key (see photo) and no key fob. Would it have had key fobs originally? As i dont have one i cant get one cloned, is my only option a dealer? Thanks.
  13. Thanks srtatosg, ill take the door card off on the weekend and have a check of the cables πŸ‘. Thanks for the advice ChrisTids, i thought that about the bumper ill check if the sensors are going anywhere. If not ill buy a new kit to fit. Theres no smell of oil and the engine is clean but thank for the advice ill check to make sure its there!
  14. Hi all, firstly let me tell you some info- I bought a 2011 Roomster s 1.2tsi semi auto, it was a private buy from fb marketplace. The body has its age related knocks but the interior is clean and it only done 31000 miles with full service history. Ive had it a few weeks now and i love it,i feel like a teenager again wanting to do things to update it 😊. I recently noticed a few things that got me thinking it mite have been in an accident at some point so i paid to have a car check and it had at the beginning of this year πŸ™„. Cat n non structural front and back so not to bothered about that as it looks to have been repaired ok. The rear bumper has parking sensors but they don't work so i guess as its a S the bumper was from a doner car, any thoughts? Sorry that was long winded! The front windows are elec but the passenger window doesn't work on the drvers door switch. It works on the passenger door switch. Ive changed the switch but still the same, anyone know what it could be? If anyone can help or let me know of things i should check or look out for id much appreciate it!
  15. Hi from south Wales! New here so thank you for having me! Ive owned a Skoda fabia greenline estate from new since 2012 but my wife uses that now so ive just bought a skoda roomster s 1.2tsi dsg 2011. Hope to speak to many of you soon! πŸ‘
