  1. can i tempt you towards Quartz Grey ?
  2. I cant actually remember the exact details, i think some kind of lane assist, and front camera system as it all comes in a pack? None of which were appealing to me. i just wanted a dashcam port but will just route the cable to fuse box like i have been doing on previous cars, would of been nice though. £30 pm extra over a 3 year lease. USB C charge port alone worked out at £2 per month.
  3. ive gone for a Sportline lease too 2 options I initially ordered were: Spare tyre USB C charge port by the rear view I was later told that if i wanted the USB C charge port by the rear view id have to add £30 per month more extras on which was not worth it, so declined and just getting Standard Sportline plus spare tyre As its a lease, i don't often add extras, i just try to go for a spec that has decent toys for the cost.
  4. Only option I’d pay for is a spare wheel (if one isn’t included)
  5. Hi all i have a all black 8 and looking at getting a new snow foam lance from auto brite. What fixture do I need? Or do I take the connector off the lance bottle that came with the all black 8 and fit it onto the auto brite bottle? thanks.
  6. All Black 8 pressure washer here Very good for the money, id rather have this than any Karcher i couldn't afford a Kranzle so settled with this
  7. Currently sat in my local skoda dealer getting this fixed thanks to this thread. Tech did come out and tried to blame the dash cam usb cable which doesn't even run under the rear view mirror unit. Anyway. I showed him that there is no chance it was the cable and understood. Hopefully it will be fixed
  8. I really like sonax brilliant shine Detailer , spray on and wipe off. id say it's as good as carpro reload
  9. tardis a container will last you years. Make sure you use a chemical resistant sprayer head/trigger, otherwise it will eat through the standard ones
  10. My 17 plate vrs tdi doesn't have it on the infotainment menu. Only shows which door single or all opens when unlocked and remote window wind down
  11. Had my first dpf regen today, only 50 miles on the clock instantly knew it was regen as my stop start wouldn't work. not as loud as I've heard on other cars.
  12. You most definitely should have one. If it was a brand new car bought. Would of been part of the handover
  13. Does the vrs mk3 come standard with wireless charging? Mine is a 17 plate Have tried my Samsung edge which support wireless charging but can't seem to get it to work in the phone box

  15. Thanks mate. Didn't realise you could do this. Will check it out. Thing is I'm using the hardwire cable which has a block on it https://www.amazon.co.uk/Boblov-Original-Hardwire-Adapter-Dashcam/dp/B01J3CTSV2 so I'd have to feed up from under dash to top the dash, Is there enough space to feed a micro USB in the gap? the pic above was another brisky member, I've managed to push the cable in the gap so you can see it but for the same of OCD il give you idea a try when the weather gets better thanks
  16. Fitted my ddpai m6 plus today, very much like this install, I used the ddpai hard wire kit (£10 on amazon) on the 12v always live fuse using a tap as I want to use parking mode. I managed to squeeze the cable inbeteeen the bottom of A pillar and dash which took some doing! Just to check, running the cable down the A pillar by the window, you can't actually tuck the cable right under the A pillar cover? It's hidden but just wedged into the small gap that's there ? I did try to pull the A pillar off but didn't want to break it. Also, those who have gone across horizontally at the top of the A pillar and into the rubber seal, please check the curtain air bags as the vrs also goes accross passenger side too so any cable going accrosss the air bag will compromise safety. Just a heads up. i ended up using a 5Amp fuse for the ddpai in the tap. putting the glovebox back was bit cumbersome, I got there in the end but what a rubbish design, I pray I don't have to change a fuse on a dark road in the middle of no where. Sorry no pics but they same as above really.
  17. Did this wire come with the inline fuse too as pictured?
  18. going to attempt to hard wiring a ddpai m6+ into my VRS mk3 this weekend (switch live) got the bits ready what i am not sure if routing the wire down the A pillar by the sir bag anyone got any pics on the route i need to take? I don't want the wire showing at all if i can help it
