  1. Hey, guys. Is it necessary to code or adapt the headlights after replacing them with the same piece? Both headlights are cracked at the corners, I have bought the same headlights (maybe even the month matches) and will be changing them. So I want to ask, do they need to be coded somehow after replacement or just adjust the height? 2017/08 2.0 TDI facelift full LED Thank you.
  2. Hey, guys. I would like to inquire about the accuracy of the values I read from the car. I mainly want to ask those who have insight in these particular cars, what do they consider these values to be, good or bad? The first two photos at injector values are at idle, the third photo is at 5% acceleration and an oil temperature of 50°C (122°F). At the same time I would like to ask to what values for the injector can I be calm and also to what values can I be calm in the case of the DPF? 2.0 TDI CR (CRMB) 2018 - 230.000km. Thank you! Sorry for the oversized pics.
  3. The "known problem" refers to fogging, in my case it is due to cracks, but it doesn't change the meaning of the whole topic, can the lights also be repaired or just a complete replacement?
  4. Ever since I've been reading threads that are about lights, often their only fault is that they fog up. But unfortunately they are also made of quite thin plastic, so even the smallest pebble on the road can do a lot of damage.
  5. Hey, guys. It's already a known problem regarding these cars unfortunately. I too had my front headlights burst from pebbles on the road. I would like to ask, is there any other solution to this than replacing them piece for piece? Renovation of these headlights is possible? Thank you.
  6. Hello 👋 Has anyone had a similar problem? Today was the first time it showed up, never did before. What fault could it be? (sorry for link, but i can’t upload more than 10mb). https://streamable.com/42nfgf
  7. Hey, guys. I am the owner of a Skoda Octavia III FL in super trim, Drive. Panoramic roof, independent heating, LED lights, heated seats, radio Bolero and a few small things which are too much and it would be useless to describe them. I have owned this car for 3 years. I am happy with it except for a few details. Lately I've been thinking of replacing the car with the same or a year older Skoda Superb III. Of course the current market in my country doesn't offer vehicles in the same trim, so I will have to rule something out. But I would hate to lose the panoramic roof which is a wonderful thing. But I would like to ask people who own a Superb III, preferably a 2016/17 year i.e. pre FL. According to your experience, even if it's a step backwards in equipment maybe, is it a good car? I mean for example Bi-xenon headlights, interior noise, chassis comfort and driveability. I'd prefer to go for a variant of the same, i.e. 2.0 TDI 110KW without AdBlue.
  8. Thanks for the advice, but I have one more question, this serial code doesn't affect anything else?
  9. @varooom so just change 000915105CC to 11111111111 ?
  10. Hello, I don't want to start a new topic unnecessarily, so I'll ask here if I can. I bought a new battery today, the same one the car left the factory line with. At the moment when I wanted to adapt a new battery, I noticed that it has the same code as the previous battery (000915105CC) entered in vcds serial number line. How else can I adapt the battery. To be sure, I changed the Ah from 68 to 69 and then back to 68, everywhere I changed the previous reading by one letter or number, then back to the reading that is on the battery. Is the battery also adapted by this? Thank you. (( Picture with RED square is OLD battery, GREEN is the NEW ))
  11. Hi, guys. The weather has warmed up, the mornings are cold, but during the day it exceeds 10℃ (50°F). After the change in temperatures during the gout, the starting of the car also deteriorated. During the morning when the temperature is under 7℃ (44°F) the car starts perfectly, but as soon as the temperature rises, the car starts smoothly for 3-4 seconds. I was able to read on the forum that the coolant sensor can also cause this. The battery is fine, I think the glow plugs are fine too, in winter the car started without problems. This problem only manifests on first start, for example when I finish work, if I stop at the shop on the way home and carefully start the car, it starts without any problems. I've read that in warmer weather the glow plugs don't burn as much as they do in cold weather, that's why people on the forum wrote that a faulty coolant sensor could be causing it. I would therefore like to replace it. The question is, where exactly is this sensor located? I found a video where the sensor is visible, but it was a TSI engine, in my case it is a 2.0 CRTDI 150HP (CRMB) . Another question is, is it necessary to pressurize the cooling system after replacing the sensor? If so, how? Thanks in advance for the answers, and sorry for the grammar, I used a translator.
  12. Hey. Hey. I haven't added a post since the last mods, but I've tried part by part that which may be problematic. You're right, for me replacing that part eventually fixed it too.
